The paper describes the possibility of using cored wire for wearresistant hardfacing containing waste (dust gascleaners) from production silica manganese and aluminum. Hardfacing was carried out a submerged welding tractor made slag produced by West Siberian Electrometallurgical Plant. wear rate on samples determined 2070 CMT1 machine. method it is based change in sample mass during disc – pad test. Chemical composition deposited metal Xray fluorescence XRF1800 spectrometer atomic emission DFS71 spectrometer. hardness layers measured METHDO tester. Evaluation quantity nonmetallic inclusions according to GOST 1778 70 an OLYMPUS GX51 optical microscope. coefficient recovery found at different ratios components. This associated with reduction oxide manganesecontaining flux (due carbon contained wire). With significant excess flux, exceeds 100 %. process filling wire, amount carboncontaining material charge, content electricarc coating itself. contains nondeformable silicates point oxides. Contamination small. presence these nonmetallic does not significantly affect operational characteristics layer.
